How does your website score?

Type your address. Google’s PageSpeed test checks speed, search basics, accessibility and best practices on mobile. Scores show here in under a minute. No signup.

Works on any public website. Runs Google’s free PageSpeed Insights test.

Six things Google looks at.

  • 01.1PerformanceHow fast the page loads and becomes usable on a mid-range phone.
  • 01.2Search basicsTitles, descriptions, links and whether search engines can crawl the page.
  • 01.3AccessibilityContrast, image text, form labels and buttons people can use with a keyboard or screen reader.
  • 01.4Best practicesHTTPS, browser errors, image formats and other signs of a well-kept site.
  • 01.5Core Web VitalsLargest Contentful Paint, layout shift and blocking time — the loading measures Google reports on.
  • 01.6MobileThe whole test runs on the mobile version of your page.

What the numbers mean.

  1. 90–100: goodA solid technical base. The next questions are content, search rankings and enquiries.
  2. 50–89: needs improvementSome fixes will make the site faster or easier to use. The issues list shows which.
  3. 0–49: poorVisitors on phones are likely waiting or struggling. Worth fixing before spending on ads.

The bands are Google’s own. Scores can move a few points between runs; that is normal.

Before you ask.

Is the audit free?

Yes. The test is Google’s free PageSpeed Insights. The issues list and our note on what to fix first are free too, with no obligation.

Why does it test the mobile version?

Google mainly uses the mobile version of a site to index and rank it, so that is the version worth checking first.

How is this different from running PageSpeed Insights myself?

The test is the same. What you get from us is a person reading the results and telling you, in plain words, which fixes matter first for your site.

My score is high. Is there anything else to check?

Speed and technical health are one part. Whether visitors find what they need and send an enquiry is the other. That is what phase one of our work looks at.

What happens to the address I type?

It goes to Google’s PageSpeed Insights, which loads that page to test it. We only see the results if you ask us for the issues list.
