What this site collects.

Short version: almost nothing. Last updated 10 October 2026.

Who we are

IT House is based in Vancouver, British Columbia. We handle personal information under British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Questions: hello@ithouse.ca.

What we collect

  • Emails you send us. The contact form does not send data to a server. It opens your own email app, and we receive only what you choose to send.
  • No analytics or advertising cookies. This site sets no cookies and runs no tracking scripts.
  • Hosting logs. Our hosting provider may keep standard request logs (such as IP address and time) for security.
  • Fonts. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font is requested.

How we use it

We use what you email us only to reply and, if we work together, to run the project. We don’t sell it or add you to a mailing list.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails only as long as we need them to reply and for our business records. Ask us at any time and we will delete yours.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@ithouse.ca. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
